bioskin^® is excited to announce a change in ownership: Our Managing Director Dr. Walter Wigger-Alberti and bioskin’s founder Dr. Johannes Gassmueller have joined together to purchase the company. All day-to-day operations and management decisions will remain under the continual leadership of Dr. Wigger-Alberti.

Since 2004 bioskin operated as an independent, wholly-owned subsidiary of Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, Inc. and reverted to ownership by Valeant Pharmaceutical Internationals following their acquisition of Dow in 2009. Even though we operated as an independent company, and our day-to-day operations have always been under our sole control, we expect this change of ownership will positively impact our business and open avenues for new and renewed partnerships.

The bioskin team is more motivated than ever to continue strengthening our position as your premier partner for dermatological research and development over the coming years and decades!
